Here at the Royal Oak Exmoor we have menus that change with the seasons in both the bar dining areas and restaurant dining rooms.
Our Chef's Specials board is updated daily and we have a lighter bites menu at lunchtimes with homemade filled rolls, starters, light meals
and the Royal Oak Favourites.

 

Younger ones can have their own menu or we're happy to prepare smaller portions of many of our menu dishes. 

 

Everything is cooked to order wherever possible and we appreciate our guests understanding at busy time as we prepare our dishes from fresh ingredients. Only locally sourced produce is used if at all possible and all starters, pies, sauces, desserts, breads and ice creams are homemade here at the Royal Oak by Head Chef and his team.

 

Bar opening times are from Midday and from 6pm, 7 Days

Lunch and Dinner Available 7 Days a Week

Lunch Service: 

Midday to 2pm, all year round

Dinner Service: 

28th October to March  - 6pm to 8pm

April to 27th October  - 6pm to 9pm (Sunday 8pm)

Our Menus have a range of Starters, Sharing Plates, Royal Oak Favourites, Mains & Homemade Desserts.

 

We only use locally sourced fresh produce, and if it’s at all possible to make it ourselves – we do! - including all sauces, desserts, breads and ice creams.

 

When booking please make us aware of any food preferences, allergies or intolerances and we’ll do our utmost to cater for all needs.

 

We fully comply with Food regulations which require us to be able to identify any of the 14 known allergens that may be present in any of our menu dishes if we are asked to do so.

 

If any of our menu items contain nuts then it will be clearly stated in the item description, but all dishes are prepared and cooked in an environment where nuts may be, or may have been present.
