Statement: We are closed except for Shop, Community Support and Take Away Collections.
We have taken extra measures as outlined in our Policy Statement.
We have introduced a take away menu of our own home made food as our Chefs continue to volunteer unpaid for the Winsford Village Support Group, all of our Chefs have lived in the village for more than 25 years and two of them were actually born in the village.
If you are in Winsford and are self isolating, or have been told to isolate by family or health professionals then please call us on 851 455 and we can put you in touch with the Winsford Village Support Group who may be able to help. Please remember you are not on your own, we're all in this together
For the latest updates on our Community Shop please click here and scroll down to the Shop Section.
21st March - Was a day that will live long in all our memories - we were forced to close for an indefinite period. We have contacted everyone who had accommodation booked with us for March, April and May and have returned all deposits we were holding, all accommodation bookings are cancelled until at least the end of May.
All our staff were 'furloughed' with immediate effect and cannot do any work under HMRC rules of qualification for 80% wage subsidy. We will continue to pay all our staff their full salaries by topping them up for as long as we have the money to do it.
Our chefs have unanimously decided that they will continue to volunteer unpaid for the Winsford Village Support Group and we have allowed them free use of our kitchen on the undertaking that all our environmental health procedures and quality standards are maintained. They will between them continue the Take Away Service Menu that is currently available for as long as we feel they are not putting themselves or their families at increased risk by doing so.
The volunteer Community Shop continues as we plug the gaps left by those volunteers who feel they should self isolate or have been advised to do so by family or health professionals.
